Last updated: 16 July 2026

This page explains how to delete your TobiSound data. TobiSound is a native Android music player for the media servers and local files you own, provided by the controller below.

There is no account to delete

TobiSound has no account and no backend of ours. We operate no servers and store none of your data — everything the app keeps (your server connections and credentials, library cache, downloads, artwork, and settings) lives only on your own device.

How to delete your data

Because all data is on-device, you delete it directly from your phone:

  • Remove a server in the app to delete its stored connection and encrypted credentials.
  • Clear the app’s storage (Android Settings → Apps → TobiSound → Storage) to wipe the library cache, downloads, and settings.
  • Uninstall TobiSound to remove everything at once.

Any of these actions permanently removes the corresponding data from your device. There is nothing for us to delete on our side, because we never receive or store any of it.

Data held by third-party services

If you enabled optional features that talk to services you configured — such as scrobbling to ListenBrainz or Last.fm — any history there is held by those services under their own policies. Request deletion of that data with the relevant service directly.
